🤔 I don’t really see the trolling here, just more commenting how back in the day, it was possible and common for a man to support a female raising children, but inflation has made that model infeasible to where it’s not even an option, in most cases, both spouses have to work. Did I interpret it wrong?
I guess it is how you read it. Desperate Housewife was a real condition back then.
Oh totally, but I would say it still is, maybe even more so. Now, a single income makes it nearly impossible to do simple things like afford a home. Never do I think women should have to live one way or the other. Ideally, they would have the choice. Some women feel their purpose and fulfillment comes from raising children and would rather stay home with them whereas other women choose to work and in some cases, even become the breadwinner. Women and men both are desperate these days, we all are because our cost of living keeps raising while our purchasing power goes to shit.
This is why I think tackling the problems between men and women should be sidelined until enough people take the step of securing their wealth from theft.

Fiat surely has enslaved us all. But so has misappropriating the feminine and the masculine.
That's basically what I was thinking of. Traditional roles are defaults in a sound money environment, and people who don't fit in are rare, but can find fulfillment by going their own way.
But what was once rare is now commonplace because fiat ruined everything, and what was once the easy, default path is now something you have to fight for.
