In Europe, privacy currencies are going to be eliminated from exchanges.

We will see what happens with techniques like coinjoin or lightning itself because lightning for issuing payments is very private and lightning with bolt12 is also very private for receiving payments.

they would have to order every node ln node runner to shut it down, i don't see how would it work

I guess mostly governments would just make an example out of a few and then most get scared and shut down nodes. Won't get all of them but probably relatively few node runners in say Africa than Europe I guess. Don't know tho

Goc ordering ISPs to cut off connection to bitcoin nodes and cloud hoster to stop hosting or routing bitcoin nodes. Lightning is 75% custodial so it's fucked instantly
