When I read “for my protection” I stand up straight, put my weight on the balls of my feet, raise my fists and scream.
Part of the larger effort to centralize "health" powers via their (so-called) One Health approach. This approach also includes a legally binding pandemic treaty that supercedes national sovereignty and very draconian amendments to the existing International Health Regulations, which nation states will also be legally bound to uphold if it gets enough votes among member states next year.
