You changed the TOS recently BTW when all this happened. I'm not defending, just saying you are promoting something that is censorship resistant when, it is more like "THE DEREK ROSS" Twitter platform and if you don't like it or post something I/WE don't like you are blacklisted...

You seem to be confused about how Nostr is censorship resistant. That's fine. It's still really new. If someone gets censored or banned, since we follow public keys across the Nostr protocol, anyone that is censored or banned can continue to post on a new relay and or on a new client. They can even run their own relay and run their own client. It's all open source. You can't be banned. Your followers can follow you across the network onto new relays. That's the beauty of it all. Now, the person that had their NIP-05 ID revoked, they can continue to post on Nostr. In fact, they've been posting all along over the past two weeks since I removed their ID. It didn't affect them at all. They didn't even notice until recently! Again, this is all by design. This is why Nostr is fantastic at being censorship resistant! Understand now?
I understand that aspect that he can run his own relay and agree overall, I am not defending a racist and/or what he said, so please don't "yikes" as defending a racist etc. I am asking questions about the situation and am also learning at the same time. Just saying that you and others having control over someone's ID is concerning and that was changed recently when it happened.
Did you refund his Sats ?
That's one of the risks you take by using a NIP-05 ID provider instead of running your own server with your own domain. You have to agree to the NIP-05 ID provider's Terms of Service. We don't allow spammers, scammers, or hate. Our ToS has always mentioned no refunds. Though, when our system has made mistakes, we have refunded those sats. This is not that type of mistake though.
Nip-05 is not someone’s ID
Dude a NIP05 isn’t required to post on nostr. Being on one certain relay is not required to be on nostr. You are currently posting on nostr. There is no censorship here.
It'S NoT cEnSoRsHiP rESiSTaNt
*Complains about being censored on nostr by posting about it on nostr.*
I'm not saying Nostr is, I'm saying Derek's relay is and wasn't shared originally as being a censorship relay. Who knows, what else him and who he works with will censor next / deny their ID's....
I think every client and relay should be joined keeping in mind the reality that you can be blacklisted in mind. Just be a good human and there shouldn’t be anything to worry about. If there is something to worry about, use another service that’s more reputable for not blacklisting. The free market will weed out bad acting relay and NIP05 operators, but I don’t believe Derek is a bad actor in any sense of the word.

Yup. Weirdo sh..
Derek's relay is one of the most promoted relays on twitter for months and didn't have any TOS in the wording as it is now till a month or two ago. It 110% wasn't there when I signed up, 2 months ago.
I can’t speak to the TOS and Idk what you did exactly but I think it’d be pretty obvious if you were about to post something everyone else would find offensive. It doesn’t take a TOS to know right from wrong. Regardless, TOS or not, using this situation to proclaim nostr isn’t censorship resistant is a huge stretch and a patently false argument. NIP05s have no bearing on your ability to use nostr. You also still have the nostrplebs identifier, so unless you’re talking about a different account idk what the issue is.
it's in the thread, I totally understand that it doesn't stop one's ability to post across Nostr and I am not the one who this happened too due to posting certain offensive stuff about jewish people which is a broad topic especially when referring to the Jewish people who control Hollywood and the media.
Again, I can’t speak to the TOS thing, but if someone runs a very popular NIP05 and/or a relay, you’d have to think they don’t want to be seen as enabling over-generalized racist comments that a majority of people would find offensive.
