AI services contribute to the #climatechange
We support fully the choice of #mastodon to limit the use of AI. This is why we chose to exclusively post our content here.
There is a rich of tech companies to use the latest AI technologies but if it is to the detriment of our planet we are not going to care for it.
Not using AI is resistance and a thing you can do if you wish to help the #climate.

How much carbon is produced by this AI? How much per user? Seems like per user it would be pretty low and easy enough to offset. I think getting good information out to people who want to improve soil, compost, ect... is more beneficial than not. There are many good reasons to not use legacy social media, I just think this is not one.
How can I get this info out to the most people?
