Does anyone have any strong feelings about the best pre-built node out there? Am in the market and open to good information / suggestions. 🙏

Start9 is the way imo. Great community service on telegram and you can start by flashing the OS onto an old computer for free before diving in and buying their hardware ( if ever).

If so, buy an intel nuc or similar tiny / mini / usff pc & make it a proxmox box that has start9 as a guest vm.
That gives you room to run other bitcoin related servers & containers on the same device.

I have never used one of those. I know nostr:npub1aghreq2dpz3h3799hrawev5gf5zc2kt4ch9ykhp9utt0jd3gdu2qtlmhct has one coming out but I haven’t seen any reviews on it yet.
i only have experience with raspiblitz on raspberry pi, which has worked out okay for me so far, but recent strain on lightning network (ordinals etc) has really put raspberry pi to test, especially if you want to run anything interesting in terms of apps, so for hardware probably makes sense to run on old laptop as k3tan suggests (see stephan livera podcast from maybe 3 months ago) or intel nuc etc as dimi suggests below (just realizing now that dimi avatar is just dimi being dimi; had previously thought he was telling me off everytime he reacted to a post. :)
