There is tremendous value in authenticity. I watched some of his newer videos, which are over produced and miss the raw elements of a basic live performance. Perhaps Iām yearning for nostalgia, or there is an element of human connection without the flash and glam of modern production, that we crave in our lives š¤
I'd say it's more of the latter. For me, there's something about that connection that only comes from a shared artistic experience. Even if you've heard the song a million times, even if you've stepped insided that same venue a million times, the experience will be unique because of the people that share it and what they bring to it. It's a moment in time that can never be recreated in exact detail.
