I use primal and damus. Primal fixed the reply tag so it tagged the bot
That makes sense, although it tagged it with a 'mention' instead of a 'reply'
What’s the difference?
My understanding 'mention' is like a direct @, whereas a 'reply' just includes the npubs that are part of the thread.
Interesting. Should I try to reply to the same note with damus and see what happens?

I'll look into this a bit more later today. Not a Nostr developer here, just poking around. I threw this thing together in one day. If you look though, you will see the 'mention' part. The way I understand a mention, it is like a direct @ someone, instead of a reply and all we are doing here is just replying to the original note. Does it make sense?
Yeah I get it. Maybe nostr:npub1zga04e73s7ard4kaektaha9vckdwll3y8auztyhl3uj764ua7vrqc7ppvc can explain a little more why. It’s not a big deal to me but it is an interesting discovery.
TLDR: primal replies with multiple users function as a mention and is triggering his bot that he made. Damus does not trigger it because the reply tags don’t act like a mention.
Again not a big deal but could be something useful to be aware of.

You mean if you call the bot and people reply under its not he would be constantly retriggered if the code doesn’t work properly?

So every time I reply as a primal user with the bot in the thread, it’ll make a sunny video. This note is posted from damus.
