Human cells make up only 43% of the body's total cell count.

Are we sure we are not zombies? 🤔

My message is that even if you don't have friends, your microbes will keep you company for ever.

We are bags of mostly water

And germs.

True

“Ugly bags of mostly water.”

Depends on how they got to this number? Did they consider the mitochondria to be a ‘human cell’ or part of ‘the other’?

How do I know YOU are not a zombie?

(Funny my phone tried to correct to Zimbabwean 😀)

Yes, I'm sure of it.

Because the 43% of the cells produced control or maintain all the rest.

We would be zombies in this sense if any other organism controlled the other 43% 🙂👍

However... We can be 'zombies' in other senses too 😅

I am a multispecie symbiotic blob

Depends what creates the "negative entropy" that is the hallmark of biological life...

In this case clearly its the organization and health of human cells that prevent the body from becoming a rotting corpse (shifting to positive entropy regime)

N.B. - zombies dont appear to obey 2nd law as they dont seem to run out of energy

I would say that some of us don't! They're not sure 🤷‍♂️😅😓

imagine showering away all the still-yourself-microbiota on your skin every day
