Am I right in understanding that prior to 1948 the Jews had no country of their own for the past few thousand years?

A historical nation of people who have been around for thousands of years and they never had a country, until the British established Israel 75 years ago?

Odd.

Well there are indications that Western historians made up about ~1000 years about 300 years ago. See Fomenko for example but even Newton had his doubts.

I think my current stance on the matter is a bit too schizo for most though.

Yeah, I have heard that and I'm open to the idea that somewhat recent history was fabricated to some extent.

I just find this fact really strange. When I look it up, it points to 1000 years bce, which again, is really odd that an entire population wouldn't have a homeland for that long.

I did not know this

There's a mix of "conspiracy theories" surrounding this idea, from mud flood theories to Satan's little season and I'm sure there are others too.

Prior to 1800 is somewhat murky IMO, and the architecture doesn't match up with people who were riding around on dirt roads with horse and cart.

Couple that with many covered up pyramid structures around America and hieroglyphs found in the grand canyon which is largely off limits to the public, and it doesn't seem to crazy to question the validity of what we are told.

Yeah the architecture point has never made sense. I mean…maybe we’re not the peak of technological evolution…just the most recent iteration.

Authentic believers in Judaism say, that they're not supposed to have a state. Apparently this is written in a holy book, the Torah.

Not until the Messiah appears.

But some Zionist sects, notably Gush Emumim, believe that they, collectively, are the Messiah.

No, not true.

The Kaganate of Khazaria and the Ethiopian Empire were explicitly Jewish States for centuries during the early Middle Ages, and dwarfed modern Israel.

There were Jewish Berber tribal kingdoms in North Africa in Late Antiquity.

The Khanate of Crimea in the Early Modern period was notionally Muslim, but the Krimchak Jews there had their own armed forces and their own defined territories within it that even the Great Khan was not permitted to enter. (The Khanate was very dependent on Krimchak slavers for its foreign exchange.)

Early Modern Spain had similar quasi-independent Jewish cities. Pedro II "the Cruel" managed to cling to his throne for a decade with their armed support, the memory of which Ferdinand of Aragon used to justify expelling them.

Most seem to dismiss anything related to Khazaria as a conspiracy theory. This information seema to be heavily obfuscated for one reason or another. I should inform myself more on this topic.

It's the longest lasting militairy occupation in the world.

Not only the British, also the UN was involved in this landgrab called Israel.

There were people there before and have been killed or chased out of their homes, and those are supposedly still the bad ones, you know "those difficult Palestinians" whose land was stolen...

"The Jews" is people who follow a certain lifestyle and religion, not genetic group of people. And there are many subgroups.

Like Isrealites was a group of people called The Israelites... It was a group, not a country.

It is considered its own ethnicity though, i think BECAUSE of those long running lifestyle/religion/cultural ties
