I am just glad I can share 1 min video stories through IG to my FB, friends, live from the Plan B Conference, cos at present sharing any video on Nostr seems impossible, all my attempts to upload fail. But at least I am subtly orange piling my "normies" friends.

P.s. why did I think that primal comes with some data storage to be able to upload media?

Usually unloading to Amethyst is 90% more successful than constantly failed attempts to primal. But I pay for primal and amethyst has restrictions on video size.

considered a nostr.build paid account for video? I get the features and UX of IG, FB, etc

I tried to get on there months ago and I couldn't get passed tech difficulties. Then primal introduced what I thought I heard was nostr.build integration and figured hat would be the route.

I may have to give it another try though, prefer not to accumulate subscriptions at this point and contribute in other ways considering where I am at right now and also my discoverability is practically non existent here and I am most often than not talking to myself. :)

I think of nostr.build as a prepaid plan like prepaid mobile service more than a subscription. totally understand benefits of reach

Often videos can be greatly compressed, especially for viewing on mobile devices online.

Try using Handbrake to compress files. It is free and works well. It is also a little techie to use, but not too bad. This is what we recommend to anyone having video issues before getting an account.

We are planning integration with Primal, likely within the next couple of months.
