Forward privacy doesn’t erase the past

Thank you for your message, my sincere friend. I completely agree with you that using privacy tools cannot fully reverse a KYC process once personal information is already linked to a Bitcoin wallet. I commend your suggestion on the usage of non-KYC exchanges like Bisq or Robocoin.

It is critical for users to understand that once their data is linked to their Bitcoin wallets, it stays forever recorded on the blockchain. So, the best approach remains preventing this link in the first place by adhering to true unbiased anonymity led decentralization at all times and transacting only on P2P networks.

Again, thank you for advocating privacy and security in cryptocurrency transactions!

For a government it’s sufficient to know that you *DO* own bitcoin. The use of coinjoins and other privacy tools only prevents the government from knowing *WHERE* you store this bitcoin.

And how much you have. But, then again, I lost my keys. 🤣

In some EU countries losing keys in a boating accident does not save you from prosecution if you own KYC bitcoin. Therefore, only decentralized p2p + mixing/another anonymization method.

I agree wholeheartedly. I am not arguing against non-kyc. Don't take it that way.
