Reject the idea that ecash is a scaling solution for Bitcoin. At this point, ecash is "just" the best form of custody we have but custody doesn't scale Bitcoin. We can't be lazy and reliant on trusted third parties for scaling. Bitcoin needs to scale on the protocol level. There is no alternative.

It’s a type of ecash that’s basically self contained no wallet required by you until you claim it. Definitely very snarky! But a well meaning snark, to be sure. I found it clever but I have been in this space for a hot minute already.
Exactly. You know what else is used effectively for both privacy and avoiding taxes? Plain old physical fiat cash, and yet that doesn't mean it is illegal to use cash.
Just because a thing can be used for illegal purposes doesn't make the thing itself illegal, so long as it can also be used for legitimate purposes.
Then there is the deeper question of whether those so-called "illegal" purposes should really be considered so at all.

I'd like to see covenants enable UTXO sharing with unilateral exit. Channel factories that allow multiple ownership of LN channel pools would also go a long way.
Best form of custody? Don’t the ecash rely on mints (which again mostly has the same challenges as LN, ie, not everyone run their mints?). May be I’m missing something, please enlighten.

I'm not sure if we need more scalability onchain with a HF. Maybe most people just need to use second layers and trust in their Community or their Pleb Bank. I don't expect most of the people want to learn how works Bitcoin onchain, people just wants to use it.
