Here is me squatting 405 pounds about 6 weeks ago. Been using the Starting Strength method. Very effective, they train old people too, which is strong signal, if it gets gains for grandmas it will work for anyone. There is a lot of noise out in the "fitness" world to cut through, but weight on the bar doesn't lie.
