That’s really heavy. It’s interesting how so much is wrapped into a persons understanding of their own identity. My heart aches for people suffering especially kids.

I find a lot of solace in my faith by dying to myself and my own earthly desires/beliefs daily. It’s a reminder and a reality check. Unfortunately, so many families and communities are combating “church hurt” and “Bible Belt bigotry” that the people who really need help or would benefit from God’s Grace turn away from it. It’s horrible. They are forcing themselves into a mental wilderness that’s purely destructive… and it’s not entirely their fault.

I wish there was a way to eliminate the political aspects of the conversation and find actual solutions…

I really love this community, #bitcoin and #nostr, because it's taught me the real value of religion. I grew up Hindu, but drifted away from it years back. I'm coming back to it now because of the solace it brings in such crazy times.

The world is so much bigger than our human perspectives; it’s important that we tether ourselves to things that remind of us to look past ourselves toward something bigger.

The world tries to make you forget that true solutions can only come from within.

Easy solution, don't expose children to blatant manipulation of their minds.

It’s not so simple. I really and truly believe a lot of this stuff comes from unresolved child abuse. It’s like we skipped over protecting our kids to protect our follower count.

We don’t have conversations about what is abusive and isn’t abusive to kids because we aren’t raising them. We allow doctors, pharmacists, and influencers to tell us what’s age appropriate and we allow the school system to set our standards. It takes accountability of the parents and adults within a child’s village to being this stuff to an end but if they don’t know what they’re doing is wrong, how do they fix it??

There is a targeted effort to financially and socially room dissidents of the woke communist party, so no, it's not so easy.
