Never been a fan of the “Solving a Math Problem” analogy

I think a better analogy would be “Guessing a Password”

A higher difficulty adjustment is just adding more characters to the password, making it harder to guess

The harder the password is to guess, the more secure the network

Most people don’t solve math problems, but everyone forgets their password

It's "solving a math problem" if the only way to solve for x in x = y +7 was to guess y until the equation makes sense. No Algebra allowed.
