This may be the best thing that has come out of the freeze dryer. I'll toss a few sats for the first correct guess. #foodstr #freezedryer #guesstr

Really wow what’s the process like need to make them now?

Just boiled a bunch of gala apples with some cinnamon. Then or it into the freeze dryer trays and Bob's your uncle.

bone broth

Need to try that for sure. Alas not that though

Going to try that, but not it.

Who makes your freeze dryer & what was the cost?

Have you had issues?

Are there a lot of maintenance?

Is it worth it to buy one in your opinion?

I have been thinking about getting one.

Sorry for all the questions.

Don't hesitate to ask any questions of me.

The one I have is a medium black Harvest Right. It is the latest model with 5 trays. I paid about $4500 CAD.

The machine didn't work properly when I got it. It took some time and money (Harvest Right made me pay for shipping the broken computer back) to get it working.

I have the Premier pump which requires oil changing/cleaning every 30 cycles or so. I haven't done that many yet. It takes 24-36 hours per cycle.

The food coming out has been fantastic. Everyone has enjoyed it. Depending on what you want to use it for and budget I would recommend it. I would hope they have sorted out the computer/software issue for any new machines they ship.

Applesauce?

Nailed it.

I’ve cream

Not quite. That works great as well.
