I finally spoke with my Bajan relocation lawyer via phone. Yes phone.

All looks good, it takes around 3 months for citizenship and another 3 months for tax residency.

Although the Barbados authorities were hit by cyber crime recently which they are recovering from, causing delays.

I can't register a Bitcoin company, but I can register a Computer based company, so that will probably be the route.

All looks good so far.

Wow, that's so cool! What an amazing place to immigrate to! I believe Barbados has a thriving expat community, so I bet you'll make new friends very easily. Post some pics when you get down there! ❤️

I may not live there, this is just to move my affairs off shore.

I will probably spend around 3 months of the year there.

My non-dom buddy does not intend to live there, he’ll end up living somewhere like Portugal, or maybe South America

Still very cool. I've never been to Barbados, but I've been to the Cayman Islands and Belize several times. It's so beautiful down there, and the pace of life is so agreeable with my personal style.
