Ive never used wooden picks before. What are they like compared to traditional plastic ones?

I’ll have to gig with them to really put them to the test. I’ll bet not all that different but I just want large and thick, with a little warmth to take the edge off.
So do a lot of men with just wanting large and thick women too. Lol
Let me know how they work out for you. Been playing myself for decades. Seems like wooden picks would be a nice change of pace from my Spanish guitar finger picking style. They look fantastic.
