Where do you fall on the work hard play hard spectrum?
Work hard in the first hard half of your life so you can play hard in the second half of your life. I know too many people including my mentor in dentistry who worked hard all their lives until they were too old to enjoy it. My mentor retired at 82 on a Friday in 2021 and died on Sunday night. He didn’t have 1 day of enjoying retirement. It was a huge eye opener for me.
I just had someone tell me “I don’t care about that shit.” We are truly early.
