when i was buying $3,000 laptop at MicroCenter my credit card was declined THREE TIMES and i spent half an hour on the phone with three different people in India before it finally went through ...

the system kept assuming my card was stolen and automatically blocking the transaction - i would remove the block by calling my card then as soon as i went to process the transaction again it would automatically get blocked again ...

i was able to get my laptop in the end but what should have been a joyous occasion turned into being dragged through mud ...
