Happy Sunday! We got the call and the hospital has a bed for mom!! She'll be transported this afternoon and ready for the procedure Tuesday. One anxiety removed, now to focus on the next thing. Thanks everyone for the kind words and thoughts, it's been a wild ride and we're not finished yet. Here's hoping you all find some joy today 🫂💜

Yayy! Finally 🙏
The relief is unreal. Thank you friend 🥰
There’s so many unknowns in medical experiences that make it the worst. Just always waiting for something: appointments, beds, answers, treatment.
Not to mention patients who don't give the whole story adding another layer. Stubborn woman, my mom. I'm so grateful for everyone who has seen her and taken care of her, she's lovable so they all like her and chat with her and it's really kept her spirits up. Her surgery day will be 2 weeks of hospital.
Hugs 🫂 glad it’s moving along!
Thank you! 🫂💜
My pops had surgery recently and they canceled at the last minute… it’s just not easy to do all this stuff. Always something! Wishing your momma a speedy recovery ❤️🩹
(fortunately Pops is still super young and independent, maybe to a fault. But learning to ask for help is his journey…)
Oh man, that sucks. I guess our silver lining is that hers is so bad they were making it happen no matter what 😂. I laugh to keep from crying, but it should've been addressed way sooner. Mom is mid 70s and still works 40 hrs a week, so that's to her benefit.
Hopefully your pops gets fixed up, and learns that it's ok to need help. Sending hugs to you both 🫂🫂
Thanks, he’s doing well now. Just started his rehab activities.
Which are his choice 🤣 he’s a hot mess
one day at a time! U r brave 💯✌️
