i think that if i homeschool my son, i would still enroll him in social places such as swimming, martial arts, football or tenis, etc
awkward kids that are homeschooled probably had 0 social interactions
A lot of awkward homeschooled kids are homeschooled because they're awkward.
Mainstream schools spat them out.
Quite a few didn't play well - cheating, temper tantrums & such. The HS kids sorted it out themselves as the parents tended to keep their distance during social/play meetings. HS kids have a pretty strong sense of fairness & while they were tolerant, they didn't put up with shit behaviour.
We home schooled for a few years and had a great experience. Each kid is different. Gotta react to their needs. Met some great families
its just to make the weak parents that use school as a daycare make themselves feel better about their underperforming child
Mine are approaching adulthood.
No fear of adults & they make friends wherever they go.
My daughter's 30 year old female boss wants to be her bestie, she's only 16 😆
