I just don't get why KYC is needed at all if it's a fiat-free product.

You can modify and implement the code like #[6] in nostr.wine . They migrate into BTCPayServer (open-source) for the payment.

We do plan on open sourcing the nostr.wine btcpayserver integration soon. I need some time to go through and simplify some of the configuration so it’s easier for others to run.
