I never had an account.
to create one now i have to accept a paid plan, or am i missing something?

If you are using apps like Amethyst, Damus, Coracle, Anort, Iris, nostrudel, it is free and integrated, no change or action needed by the user.
If you want to upload to our home page, you will need to verify by nip7, act like you are creating an acct, get to the payment page, don’t pay, and you can use free uploads to the home page.
We did change this to help battle abuse on our free site and limit to Nostr only.
