I just tried to explain what a fax machine was to my ten-year-old and I don’t think I convinced him that such a ridiculous contraption ever actually existed.

We were indeed! 😁

So somewhere between 10-32 is where the know what a fax machine line is

You could type someone a letter…and send it to them over the telephone…but, like, not the kind of phone with a screen on it…and it was like a printer…but not like the kind you use with a computer…and half the time it came through and you couldn’t even read the words…and it took about a minute to send a whole page…

You know what, never mind…

My first office job I had to fax some documents over. I punched buttons and finally figured it out and then slowly fed the 10 pages one by one until a co worker pointed out that I was doing it face up and not down so had just faxed 10 blank pages over.

😂👏🏻

Believe it or not but we still use one at my job. Not often but enough to still have the phone line

Email printer, both have to have one.

😂😂😂😂 y si le mostras un toca disco sale corriendo 💨

😂😂

All of our local libraries have them still because communication with the government often requires them, especially our state government.

Of course they do.

actually felt the same way about them when I was around that age. couldn’t make sense of how something like a letter transportation machine could really exist
