Holy shit. I can't believe I've been sleeping on git worktrees for working with agents. The speed at which you can do multiple parallel tasks, using Claude Code or OpenCode and a bunch of git worktrees is insane. Especially when you pair it with accurate LLM-based speech to text dictation. 🤯

Yes, it's a superpower. I think nostr:nprofile1qqsprwdgjszdhucrfelp3p46nhzvd5mk7gu6zxp8r0fwc4n63zv9pnspz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsz9mhwden5te0wfjkccte9ec8y6tdv9kzumn9wshszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz75qcd2e shared his setup a while back, can't find it right now though.
The job of a software engineer is completely unrecognizable from 1 year ago and I'm sure it's going to be completely unrecognizable again one year from now.
Would love to try it, if you guys have any resources on how to go about it, LMK
ask an llm to give you a tutorial. basic idea is that every branch gets it's own checkout of the repo - i put mine in ./worktrees from repo root. now you can get coding agents to run concurrently. i have `ga` and `gd` terminal aliases for creating and deleting worktrees respectively.
Someone at work just gave a talk on his workflow using work trees and Claude code. I was going to check it out my own way with opencode.
I am using that to build proofofprice.
I watched myself remove myself more and more.
It‘s just so much faster and better than me.
More reliable, more secure, more performative.
Don‘t know about git worktrees to be honest? What‘s that?
Yeah, just discovered this yesterday, it feels like vibe coding might finally start working for me
Now you only have to get the plan/design right, the rest happens fast.
Yessss!!! Productivity skyrocketing!!! 🚀
