And how have we not mentioned the Avalanche-Wings rivalry yet?!

"What's your favorite memory of that rivalry with the Avalanche?"

The Avalanche was my 90s team. Patrick Roy was my guy.

Roy was the best. Mental game better than any. Loved that guy.

John Vanbiesbrouk is my top all time goalie. I watched every game I could that he played.

I started playing hockey in 96 and both my favorite goalies played for the Cup in 1996. Vanbiesbrouck v Roy.

That's why I wore number 96.

👌🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Nic is developing & training the next Beezer & Roy for a living. That’s why.

We've got two guys in the NHL right now. Working on number 3. He's about 4 years away from his debut.

Amazing!

So cool to know!

Claude Lemieux was despised around the league not just by Detroit fans.

90s era hockey was wild.

Never forgave Messier for busting Linden's face in the '94 finals.

Even then, you could feel the Bettman tilt toward selling the game into the USA. He's still booed by Canadian fans mostly due to his influence on the game. Can't argue the success but it's a different game today then it was in the 1990s.

If Joe Sakic were a righty he’d be my favorite all time player.

But nope. He had to be a fuckin lefty.

I’d still probably be a Stevie Y guy though.

But Sakic was dynamic.

I enjoyed watching Sakic and Forsberg play together.

Here’s what nags me.

I know the payers don’t write the dumb fighting script. They want to play organically. I know the coaches don’t.

So who does? Bettman? That twerp. Or his marketing geniuses.

This, this bothers me. This thought.
