Yes, we will NEVER back down on Bitcoin's core ethos of a P2P monetary network free from all corporations and government influence.

that second part is the problem. in a permissionless system you can advocate *for* something, but not *against* something

So, self-defense is misnomer?

that's a good angle. it's not a misnomer, it's just impossible. this is why we get "the tragedy of the commons"

How is taking the action of standing up for want is Right, impossible? Or are you referring to your own unwillingness to do so and projecting it onto society as not to feel the crushing guilt of no-action from your cowardice as evil takes over the things and people you love?

i'm an engineer – by my math, what you want is futile. i agree with your desires

Are not all Laws of the Universe to be championed, not just one (Math)? Do not others Laws complement Math to aid when it reaches its limitation? Would it not be more prudent to begin to Learn how the Laws that govern human behavior help aid Math in the creating of a new realities beyond the confines of a myopic worldview?

in what way are you using "the laws that govern human behavior [to] help aid math" in the creation of a new better reality?

you can make defense possible, but then you no longer have a permissionless system. i think people prefer "permissionless bitcoin with some corporate influence" over "censored bitcoin without (overt) corporate influence"
