it’s very unclear what level this works on, and that ambiguity is both driving up the expectations of those wanting to use it zealously and driving away those who might be ok with it, IF how it fit into their dev docs and the protocols architecture was clear. It’s just not enough information to hold an opinion on it.
They have created a serious problem with their current exclusive user base rallying for a “normalize bullying for me but not for thee” posture. I’m not surprised those who felt like they lost power and lost twitter would ramp up their rhetoric, in someways I see and hope the blatant admission of wanting to bulling as a dying breath. I am unfortunately not hopeful that this large group of early adopters doesn’t eat jay alive if she doesn’t deliver on a safe space for them to bully others in.
