I find “a threat to our democracy” an interesting term that’s been thrown around the past..well, forever it seems. Particularly from the left.

Here’s my fear - that even with democracy, such policies that infringe on human rights and go against our constitution, will still be praised as popular from the right or left if THEIR person is in power!

We need to protect civil liberties and human rights, even from the eb and flow of mob rule democracy, media manipulation, and straight propaganda
