So a guy who identifies as a libertarian and a Christian makes billions of USD from literal death tech… ok.
Admittedly I’m no Bible scholar but I don’t remember anything saying that’s the vibe.

Well, Christians aren't required to be pacifists or defenseless. We're not supposed to be starting fights, but that's not the same thing.
That said, there are a lot of Christians, including Thiel, that are hoping Trump will finally bring peace in Ukraine. It's complicated.
I’m not suggesting they be pacifists or defenseless but let’s be real, defense is mostly a psyop.
How many modern wars have been about defense? The USA has, to my knowledge, been attacked twice and the second time it completely disregarded the actual perpetrators of the attack and focused on killing Iraqis instead.
The USA tends to favour attack waaaayyyyy more than defense. Maybe this time it will be different… or maybe not. Time will tell.
Well, I am of the opinion that the Ukrainians are attempting to defend themselves. It is at least highly plausible, that they truly believe this, which is as high a bar as a mere human can set.
It's often the case, that both sides of either battle feel like they are just defending themselves, which is why we should always press them to sue for peace.
