Here’s an update of the #garden in August. The heat is turned up but the mulch and rainwater harvesting has made a huge difference in resilience. Polycropping has reduced pest pressure. I need to keep adding organic material since this soil was stripped to subsoil when the lot was developed 3 years ago. Still looking to build a diy bird bath to attract more birds.

I’m also considering doing raised wicking beds for annual production next year so I can open up more space for perennial production in ground.

Go, Jacob. We are doing similar on our small farm. They call it regenerative agriculture and it's takin the world by storm.

Thank you!! I’m trying to spread the word. Most people around my area in Oklahoma have no clue due to following “traditional” agricultural practices. I’m seeing the trend shift. Keep up the good work!!!
