WTAF?
I'm not sure censorship resistant + amethyst recommending go that well together lolol
I lost a lot of respect for Swan when fringe conspiracy theories kept coming up on Cafe Bitcoin.
I usually don't listen to those episodes, but people are free to talk about whatever they want! Unless it's on YouTube obviously 😂
But it makes no sense …
How do you know it's swan and not YouTube deleting it?
Was it Swan or YT. I’ve had YT delete multiple messages of mine instantly when trying to communicate about Nostr.
My YouTube account is from 2006 and it's verified. I don't believe I'd have any comments deleted automatically. I'm not saying it can't happen, I just have never experienced this before.
Plus, this comment has been nuked and it's been there for a while.

Has not*
I think they update the topics and filters occasionally. I tried to rephrase something 5 different ways on a video. I eventually had to use DM on twitter to reach the content creator. It was on a video by Matthew Kratter.

Nostr
Go to the video and see how I was asked about Nostr.
I COULD NOT MAKE A COMMENT GO THROUGH.
I instead made a comment telling him to check his DMs (on twitter).
He only follows 9 people on Nostr. I am 1, probably because I gave him some information for joining.
I believe he would not delete my comments on YT. I also think he is busy, and generally wouldn’t just go check twitter DMs because someone told him to. He wanted the information. So why couldn’t I get it to stick?
I can only assume YT was playing internet police.

Now go look at his only note on nostr

What’s the date on this comment/video ?
Swan definitely did not delete or censor your message. We love Nostr (and you!).
Even though your message is definitely not a scam, it looks like your phrasing activated YouTubes auto-censor ðŸ˜
That's entirely possible. If Swan did not, then I'm sorry for the accusation. Either way, this is still an advertisement for Nostr, right? YouTube censoring, accidental or not, is still not a good thing. Thanks for reaching out.
