Why is this brand called Tar & Feathers?

Tarring and feathering was a form of vigilante justice where tar (sometimes hot) was painted onto a victim. Then feathers were thrown on to humiliate them.

This brand spits in the face of people who try to control you and make you conform to social norms. T&F designs are meant to empower the individual to express themselves outside of formality.

There are no suits, only sincere creative expression and a joy for beauty in all things.
