You misspelled Wasabi, brother 😉

Better being invested in those (excellent) projects, like Matt, than in any government (like almost everyone).

Better having those 3 projects as they are/were, than not having them. Net positive, without ambiguity.

Life & scaling are full of spectrums & trade-offs. Many perfectly understandable & acceptable.

Ily brotha but I think you're wrong & as time moves forward you'll see why it's important to stay true to your values when funding projects with your hard earned cash.

Odell markets himself one way, invests another.

Trade-offs ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I hope nostr:npub1qny3tkh0acurzla8x3zy4nhrjz5zd8l9sy9jys09umwng00manysew95gx will chime in, pretty sure he has interesting things to say on that topic.

Also, unless you have intel I'm not aware of, I think it's far-fetched to call #Samourai a "honeypot". If you ever installed their app you must have noticed all the disclaimers about privacy, running your own node vs. using their icelandic server, using Tor, etc.

They too understood trade-offs. They wrote great and useful FOSS software AFAICT. Made sense to me.

Just my 2 sats :)

They ran a centralized server, that's the honeypot my friend.

That within of itself should've been enough for people to bow out.

What "disclaimers"? 🤣 Samourai explicitly deceived people into leaking their xpubs by falsely claiming their wallet was "full node software": https://twitter.com/SamouraiWallet/status/1576923638846005248

Wasabi isn't a honeypot, it uses Tor and BIP157/BIP158 block filters so your IP address and xpub address isn't leaked.

Samourai is a honeypot since it collects all the data of their users by default: https://web.archive.org/web/20230417145554/https://code.samourai.io/wallet/samourai-wallet-android/-/issues/458
