Not the same buzz as a year ago on Nostr

Any theories on why things have slowed down?

I have noticed the same on X and Bsky. Haven’t spent enough time on Masto to say anything.

It has to do with Bitcoin’s USD exchange rate. Larpers gonna larp. But when there’s no volatility, there’s not much to larp. The freedom maxis are still here.

Probably the tech economy being tight at the moment. Hard to generate hype. I think quality has improved.
