They know us and always get excited, when we walk past, and line up to people-watch.

Seems like these cows are not used to have visitors. That's why they look at the camera. They want to detect if there is danger.
What are the trunks for?
All of the forests around here get thinned, regularly. Mostly firewood.
Lucky to have straight trunks. Easy to chop...
They're not used to visitors because most people don't come out walking this far, except for some farmers, but they're not scared of us. They're just bored.
We pet them, sometimes and they're always like, Where snacks? 😂
No they are not scared. When they are scared they run of course. I think they don't see like us. You have to come close to see you well. If you approach calmly no reason to be scared. But first they detect for danger.
Animals are interesting always
We've got moos on the streets in India 😂
There's horses, cows, sheep, chickens, geese, and this old married Laufente (walking duck) pair that wander around the village.
And fish ponds.
The chickens break out every day and beg for crumbs from the bakery. They all line up at his big shop window. 🤭
The ducks are so cute. He helps her cross the street. 😂
Everyone waves at them and talks to them. They're like our mascots.
People from outside hate driving around here. All the tractors and animals wandering around.
