Just installed a microwave. What a pain in the ass.

Was it an ikea one?
I hear they’re the hardest.
Ikea makes microwaves?!
Nah I put in an LG one. The actual install part wasn't horrible but removing the greasy ass old one was a terrible experience. It was and old heavy GE monstrosity.
The one I replaced it with is a lot lighter and shorter. But now my backsplash doesn't go high enough and I discovered that the person who installed the old microwave doesn't know how to put in toggle bolts properly... so I've got two massive gaping holes staring at me while I cook.
Project for another day.
Oh, no, I was just joking around.
Thank goodness they don’t or else so people would be exposed to radiation 😭.
Now that you’ve provided context it makes more sense, that sucks that all that stuff happened.
Haha man the crazy part is it is entirely plausible that ikea would make a microwave.
I'd probably have to build it first though. But luckily they provide an extra plutonium rod in case you drop the first one.
That’s what kitchen installers are for.
They seriously are.
A few months ago I got the emergency call from my in-laws that they needed my help as they had been messing with it all day.
Let’s just say by the time I got there, there wasn’t much cabinet left to attach it to 🤣🤦♂️
