They remain the biggest single attack vector on Bitcoin, surely.

They were inevitable due to Bitcoin’s characteristics at outset, but it would be fascinating to see where Bitcoin would be now if none of them ever existed.

Bitcoin is anti-fragile. So the only way for it to get stronger is to be attacked.

I’d say shitcoins are inevitable and ultimately make bitcoin stronger.
