Shouldn't we change the word "Stable coin" to Debasement coin"?

It's funny, isn't it?! Over time the only stable coin left will be Bitcoin. The current stablecoins are just a phenomenon in the transition period away from fiat.
I wouldn't write them off as a scam though, especially not if they (try to) incorporate the decentralization aspect and have a hard money backing. They have their place in the transition as long as we understand the deep value and medium of exchange nature of BTC for the ultimate long run.
Stable loss of value. I don’t see any issues.
The marketing department rejected "10% loss per annum coin" 😂
Yes. Maybe tax/taxing/taxed coin.
On a serious note,
Tax is irrelevant if the government can just print money.
But under a Bitcoin Standard, we would want somebody to do the admin and finances for each of our countries. This we can loosely call a government, which we would need to pay them some Bitcoin to do and we could’ve used the word tax if it hadn’t been previously abused.
No issue there. The idea that a coin is stable vs unstable is one thing. The idea that a coin is taxable (aka printable) and untaxable is another.
Taxable Coin is the more appropriate name.
