No way I wasn't going to find out about that painting. I haven't seen any AI art where the subject could connect with the viewer like this.

It's by Lawrence Alma-Tadema. He was a master at drawing the viewer into the scene.
Thanks for sharing. I've just been doing some reading on him. I think you posted "An Eloquent Silence" a while ago. I felt somehow awkward intruding on their
private moment but intrigued as to what might have been their situation. A "marbellous painter"!
