I was a victim of their “spam” detection algo a few months ago too. It sucks. A “spaceship man wasted billions just to keep censoring people??” mindfuck. The silver lining was that it helped me discover this tech and community, so it was a pretty big blessing in disguise.

#nostr just decentralizes these spam prevention measures though. It’s up to individual relays to be smarter and fairer than spaceship man’s employees and tech. #bitcoin fixes a bunch of crap too but it doesn’t stop people from being inconsiderate dicks to others and there’s no guarantee of the problems being fixed forever.

Nostriches (and bitcoiners) will need to stay vigilant for a loooong time. The future really depends on our daily choices.
