We have members who love rizful. I've never used it but now that im having issues with my current bitcoin wallet stack (happens every 6 months) ill have to look into it.
How about albyhub ?
I love alby but for whatever reason it doesn't work properly for me. Idk what it is about my computer but my alby node is often unreachable despite my computer being on and connected. Its probably some configuration error or other conflicting software but quite frankly I don't have the time to troubleshoot it. That issue will have to get in my early tech adopter problems queue, IRL issues log notwithstanding.
Lightning requires really good internet connectivity. There are lots of situations where you might feel like your connectivity is great (you can load web pages), but it's still not good enough to reliably keep up the "conversation" necessary between Lightning nodes...
That's highly probable. Ever since I moved to this house my connection has been somewhat unreliable. I had constant issues with my two other full nodes. I went from fiber back to cable... sigh.
Oof, if I had to give up FiOS Iβd just go live in a shack in the woods with nothing but books and a typewriter like Ted Kaczynski.
They wonβt service my house. Itβs in a busy city in a busy area. The street over has fiber but they donβt want to run it to my street. I hope they all go out of business and starlink becomes as fast as fiber.
My street is on the road map for getting a fiber line laid... in 3 years. The buildings the next street over has had fiber for well over 6 yrs. Fml.
And theres nothing we cam do because even though theres only one cable provider and zero fiber providers servicing my area, they claim I cam get satelite internet so theres still "consumer choice"
Super effective laws ya got there boys, I get to chose betwee dogpoo and bullshit. Which consumer are they protecting again? Oh right, the telecoms.
Move
Can't. While fast internet is important, moving isn't free and I have other irl reasons to be here.
