Yeah, I'm not afraid to ask stupid questions, and I'm not afraid to admit that I have gaps in my knowledge and ignorance. Despite your comment here which isn't cool at all, I benefitted from all the replies on this post, even yours.

humility doesn't get acquired without ridicule
I disagree with you, because I have learned the value of humility plenty well in my life without needing to be ridiculed every time.
If I see someone else asking questions like what I did in the future, I can now pay it forward, but I'm happy to know I can do so without your type of attitude.
