I’ll clarify some points here

1) I know many people, nonprofits, and journalists in El Salvador who are actually fleeing because of threats from the government. So this whole “come and see” response, I know many Salvadorans who are painfully leaving the country they love.

2) I gave Bukele the benefit of the doubt at first. Massive civil unrest, foreign involvement in their politics and government for decades, crime and gangs out of control. I didn’t agree with the tactics of rounding up any perceived gang member to clean up the streets — but I know many Salvadorans who were desperate from some relief from gangs (although Bukele is a hypocrite and makes deals with certain gang members, I digress)

3) what crossed a new line for me was when Bukele started trying to be a Fox News/Neo-Right darling here in the U.S. and when he cut a deal with the Trump admin to house immigrants ICE was arresting without due process, and then literally torturing many times INNOCENT PEOPLE from other nations…as a U.S. citizens knowing my tax dollars have contributed to that is disgusting.

4) Bitcoiners that are simps for his regime have been attacking other Bitcoiners who speak out against this. They want strong man kings and authoritarians, and the Bitcoin strategy has not been effective — and we still can’t get clarity on the IMF arrangement because it’s all a marketing strategy from Bukeles authoritian regime to pretend they’re standing up to IMF.

Do you ever have original thoughts that have nothing to do with Trump, or is your entire worldview pointed at figuring out why something he says or does is bad?
