Boycotting a great HWW like Coldcard because of a dispute regarding a gimmick e-ink clock is silly. Just my opinion.

You really shouldn't call other people's hard work a gimmick. Simp some more.

I'm calling them both a gimmick. The device shows numbers in a cool fashion, that's it. It's an "art" piece, not a security device.

I don't think no anyone uses or ever said they were security devices... They're clocks.

That's my point. There are people like that dopey Seth for Privacy calling for a boycott of Coinkite over a clock. And I believe that to be dumb.

It's not about the clock. It's about threatening an open source competitor to your product. It's not right.

Truly… the problem is they still use broken SEs

I know some of you guys are giga brain cryptographer devs but some of us aren't. The wallet is legitimately good and easy to use. Used in an air-gapped multisig fashion, I'm comfortable with the tradeoffs.

You do not need to be that to understand that having a device that has a weak chip is a bad idea
