True story, I used to get cramp in my shins, calf and feet, I stopped drinking coffee at lunch and dinner now only have a cup at breakfast time. Hey presto! Cramps have disappeared. I don't know if this will help anyone else but it's funny the way our bodies work.

I drank coffee strong and in plentiful quantity until after 30 years my feet started swelling up, equilateral edema. I cut the caffeine using decaf and the quantity, presto! No more cramps or edema.

Interesting, I had swelling in the knee that would go away for about 9 months. Randomly quite drinking coffee and it was gone in a week
