Answer: buy feom bitcoin ATM and pay 20% more for non kyc sats?

Selling sats at 53k btc price.

Robosats is probably a better option

In Canada where this happened, you can buy no KYC sats for 2% premium from bull bitcoin

Shakepay is a shitcoin company

I heard about em having some ATMs, but I thought all ATMs in this country need some KYC like they point a camera at you and you gotta supply name and phone?

Yikes. KYC is hard to avoid for some.

“Potential access” “very small number of people”

Translation… they got everything.

It's a blight on Humanity, not just this industry. It's ineffective, inefficient, and creates LOTS of unnecessary risk.

What we need are some regulations to make sure the data is handled safely

😆

Protecting your from terrorism, one data breach at a time

yeah it's bad

🤦‍♂️

KYC requires infinite invasiveness. All of that data used to be good enough, now the hackers have it so they need more invasive proof to KYC you next time.

23andme has already been hacked. Those selfie and drivers license companies will be next. Fingerprints, iris scans, realid, passports, and any thing else you can think of will all be public information.

The next thing to replace all of that will be more privacy invading and more annoying. Then that will be leaked and become useless too.

The pattern never ends until the concept of KYC is abandoned.

I'm sure such incidents are a feature of KYC which is welcomed by the government.
