I was never really there, I've only ever been active here. I lurk on twitter occasionally and I participated a bit during the 2022 bear. I'm a humble pleb and not an influencer.
My point is that many of the voices here were prominent maximalists who shaped my views early on, and now they have very little influence on the online culture because we are all here.

the truth is, seeing how Twitter is at the moment, I don't know if the people on Twitter or YouTube will want to listen to our proposals and use sats as payment, since hearing the latest news, governments and payment processors are increasingly reinforcing mass surveillance on centralized web pages. I have tried to talk about us with other users of those platforms, but they don't want to hear me.
Just so we're clear, you know that Nostr is in many ways worse for privacy
